Teaching Schedule

When taking Erin's class you can expect an intuitive, powerful practice that will leave you feeling elevated and peaceful. Erin offers hands-on assists and life applications off the mat. 

You can practice with Erin at four yoga studios in North Charlotte, Huntersville, and Cornelius with classes ranging from vinyasa to power to deep stretch. 

MONDAYS: ​

10AM Hot Vinyasa at Melting Point Yoga Studio (Huntersville) 

6PM POWER Yoga at YogaSix (Highland Creek) 

WEDNESDAYS:

5:45PM Heated Vinyasa at iShine Yoga & Wellness (Huntersville)

FRIDAYS:

8:30AM Deep Stretch at Lake Norman YMCA (Cornelius) 

SECOND SATURDAY OF THE MONTH: 

9:15AM Vinyasa

10:30AM Deep Stretch

10:45AM 20-Minute Meditation Practice 

All three classes are held at the Lake Norman YMCA 

Yoga Training

Erin is a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Erin completed her 200-Hour and 300-Hour trainings at Y2 Yoga in Charlotte under the instruction of Johnna Smith, Tanner Bazemore, Rian Harris, as well as other guest instructors. 

Erin's 200-Hour training included extensive study of the Yoga Sutras (8 limbs of yoga, pancha maya koshas, kleshas, etc.), 20 hours of in-class assisting, anatomy and posture clinics, Sanskrit studies, meditation instruction, pranayama instruction, the Y2 Yoga method of power yoga, ashtanga yoga, and many other topics. 

Erin's 300-Hour training included weekend-long workshops led by Johnna Smith and other health and wellness professionals in Charlotte. Weekend topics included Ayurveda for Wellness Leaders, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Through the Ages with Dr. Marcy Braverman Goldstein, Trauma & Addiction Informed Training for Wellness Leaders, Shiva Bhakti Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage with Debbie Stanley (two weekends), Pancha Maya Kosha - Sacred Journeys, Functional Anatomy for Students & Teachers with Keri Schenk, The Life Coaching Training: Yoga & Neuroscience for Modern Transformation and Manifestation. 

In addition to her yoga studies, Erin is a student of ashtanga yoga. Her teacher, Johnna Smith, is one of only 60 Level 2 Authorized Teachers in the United States. Johnna is authorized to teach ashtanga yoga by its Founder, the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson, the late Sri R. Sharath Jois. Ashtanga yoga is a dedicated, intensely physical, and profoundly spiritual yoga practice connecting the body, mind, and spirit.
